SALEM — Expanded gambling in Massachusetts has shifted the odds against Rockingham Park and the charitable organizations that raise funds there.
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (MCT) — Rhode Island officials will “explore” online gambling following a Justice Department ruling that could help states expand their gambling operations, State Lottery Director Gerald S. Aubin said.
If expanded gambling was ever legalized in New Hampshire, the chance of destination-type casinos being built here has diminished now that Massachusetts recently approved casino gambling, according to some predictions.
